At the end of the day, a degree is just a piece of paper, but I could not overcome the OCD from not having everything in its own section, so here we are.

In 2018, I earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. My area of concentration was artificial intelligence and computer vision, which really put me into touch with an extra perspective on images: computation. My master's thesis was on the teaching of this and numerous other topics from the engineering and physics curricula to first-year undergrads. More on this in the Teaching page...

From 2019 to 2023, I worked as a software engineer at a small biotechnology startup, applying and developing my knowledge of Python and data visualization to power the next generation in real-time bioprocess monitoring. It was a fun gig, and I got to work with a very inspiring and eclectic bunch.
